Weekly Announcements

* If you signed up to help mowing the church grounds, a schedule will be sent to you. You may also see the schedule here.

* Our Annual Church Picnic will be Sunday May 20th at 3:00 pm here at the church. Please come and bring your favorite side dish and dessert as we celebrate a special time of fellowship together!

* If you would like to help adopt a child to go to church camp, the cost is $80 per child. You may place your offering in an envelope marked 'church camp' and it will go to help a child get to camp this year!

* Anyone wanting to teach VBS and get a head start on preparing for this summer can get their book from Michelle Higginbotham. We still need VBS volunteers!

* We are in need of 8 volunteers to help serve a meal at church camp on June 5th. Please contact Darnell or Nettie Blaxton if you would like to help serve.

* You are invited to help provide food to area school children by donating the following items: Chef Boyardee canned items and Great Value 4-pack individual veggies. (These specific brands are being requested because they have pop-top lids.) This collection is to help supplement the Backpack Program in area schools. Area schools send home backpacks of food each Friday with children who have little or no food in the home. If you would like additional information you may see Tonya Bolton. The collection box in the old kitchen on the first floor.

* Would you be interested in praying during our morning worship service? We are looking for volunteers to pray in the prayer room as we worship each Sunday morning. Prayer guides will be provided in the prayer room. There is a sign-up sheet outside of the Choir Suite if you would like to be a part of this ministry.

* Our Weekly Men's Prayer Meeting takes place each Tuesday morning at 6:00 AM in the Church Office. Come join us guys!

* The Agape Mission will be collecting oats and toiletries this month. You may place your donation in the marked box in the old kitchen on the first floor.
